Robert provides strategic guidance and leadership for the port’s marketing and sales department, oversees market research and data analysis, and assists shippers of all sizes with their supply chain and exporting needs.
Robert joined JAXPORT in 1995 as the organization’s Communications Coordinator before being promoted to several positions of increasing responsibility, including Director of Corporate Communications and then Director of Marketing. .
He assumed his current duties in October 2013. .
Robert is a graduate of Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. He earned a master’s degree in public administration (MPA) from the University of North Florida in 2005. Robert also holds a Certification in Transportation & Logistics (CTL) from the American Society of Transportation and Logistics.
