Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, Heavy Equipment Resources of Florida (HERO)

In 2014, HERO FL was recognized as the U.S. Small Business Administration Regional Exporter of the Year and in 2018 HERO FL was recognized as the "E Star" award recipient by the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Carlton is the Co-Founder and CEO of Heavy Equipment Resources of Florida (HERO FL), a Jacksonville based company and leading source in the construction and mining industry.

HERO FL has made international impact while specializing in the export of heavy machinery and components to mining companies throughout the world.

In 2013, HERO FL was awarded the President’s “E” Award for Exports, which recognizes companies that contribute significantly in the effort to increase United States exports.

The following year, Carlton was invited to the White House to attend the White House Business Council, a Business Forward Briefing on International Trade and Export Promotion.

Carlton was born in Jacksonville, Florida and is the second of three siblings. He is a graduate from Florida State College of Jacksonville with an Associate in Arts Degree.
