Measure: The U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA) is seeking applicants for appointment to the U.S.-Brazil and U.S.-India CEO Fora.

Why this matters: These CEO Fora brings together leaders of the respective business communities of the United States and Brazil or India to discuss issues of mutual interest, particularly ways to strengthen the economic and commercial ties between the U.S. and each of these two countries, and to communicate their joint recommendations to the U.S. and Brazilian or Indian governments.

More information: Details on these CEO Fora and how to apply are available in the respective Federal Register notices on the U.S.-Brazil and U.S.-India CEO Fora.

Potential action: If you or your client do a lot of business in Brazil or India, then these CEO Fora represent an unparalleled opportunity to impact positively on the government’s priorities for growing our economic relationships with each of these countries, as well as to network with CEO’s from a variety business sizes and sectors with interests similar to yours.  And please consider reaching out to the DEC so that we can help you support your application for either of these CEO Fora.
